Friday 21st July, following a build up training plan, Val started her solo Coniston. Always a little nervous and doubting her capabilities, she started her swim waved off by her biggest fans.
The weather was great, the temperature perfect and 3 hours and 56 minutes later, Val with the biggest smile ever touched the jetty!
