See Jersey the scenic way. Swim 45 miles around it!

Jo Bulley and Uswims 'Special K' and DQ visited Jersey for an 'end of Season' relay splash under the name 'Knitted Jerseys.' What an exciting swim this proved to be too. Having visited Jersey, 'K' had fallen in love with its Bays and couldn't wait to get in the water.

This trio was all about getting some sea experience—Dave with his English Channel Solo in 2019, 'K' with her Jersey to France Solo the week after, and Jo Bulley training for her English Channel Solo 2020.

Each swimmer swam an hour each with DQ starting in the dark, Jo following and 'K' anchoring the team. This 'Round Jersey' swim pretty much had everything—relatively warm 17°C seas, lots of pretty jellyfish, amazing scenery, and fast swimming—to create a totally memorable experience.

At various points we also had some drone filming and the lovely Jersey outdoor swim community cheering us on.

After some strong swims we approached St Helier in the sunshine 10 hours and 21mins after we had set off in the dark. A new 3-person relay record in the bargain which was highly unexpected as we had laughed and joked all the way not taking things too seriously! Next time we'll put more effort in! Highly recommended for wannabee relay teams.
