Inspirational Ladies Relay Windermere

On Friday 10th September these 3 inspirational ladies took on their massive challenge of relaying Windermere. Having found open water recently the team have come together finding strength in each other and a peaceful place in open water.

All 3 have sadly lost children and were raising money for Reubens Retreat, a fantastic charity.

The team had a misty start and a gently breeze behind them, but they had done hours and hours of training, improving their overall swim fitness and absolutely smashing their swim times.

The ladies gave everything to each of their swims. They shared their children's characters and lives, laughed and cried. A truly inspirational swim finishing in 7 hours 31 minutes. AMAZING.

Next stop for these is Jersey to France.
