Sue Haines' Challenge at Windermere
Sue Haines' Challenge at Windermere

Friday 3rd September Sue Haines set off on her challenge, not a stranger to a Windermere Solo, but this year Sue has focused on speed for long distance and had set her eyes on a sub 5 hour swim.
The conditions were great and another start from Ambleside ensured no breeze would get in her way. Feeding on CNP and her favourite jelly babies (her nickname by me is Sugar Rush Sue), Sue was absolutely powering her way down Windermere.
Sure enough, 4 hours and 45 minutes later, Sue had completed. An awesome swim from this awesome swimmer.
