Nicky's dream to swim Ullswater came true

A beautiful still start to the day for Nicky who had always wanted to swim Ullswater, having some amazing swims already to her name, Nicky came to simply enjoy this swim, no pressure and not time, just enjoyment. The water temperature was a beautiful 18 degrees, perfect for Nicky.

The first couple of hours were still and calm, but then the wind came and made it a little lumpy bumpy. Nicky, a strong swimmer battled through without a bother. Smiling and enjoying her day. 5 hours later she touched the jetty at Pooley Bridge and her wish to swim Ullswater granted.
