Windermere Double for Gareth Rees

Monday 11th July saw the return of Gareth Rees. On his build up programme to Loch Awe in August he was looking at a good long stint in Windermere.

Team to support were DQ and Nick Schofield stepping in making it a boys day out. Gareth is always drama free on swims and just comes to get the job done.

His first leg was a fantastic sub 6 hours and didnt lose much on the return leg, making it a fantastic 11 hours 52 minutes of swimming.

A fabulous swim, positive and strong for the entire 21 miles.
