20th July saw Ashley Seymour take on Windermere. Ashley has been following a training plan set by Uswim Adventure and ditched the wetsuit as soon as the temperature permitted, as the dream for Ashley is an English Channel Solo in 2023.
Building up from 10km, today Ashley completed 10.5 miles in Windermere. Very different to swimming and sighting for buoys, Ashley wasn't expecting how she felt, but soon found a happy place in her head and settled in nicely.
Another super focused swim, she reached Ambleside in a fabulous time of 5 hours and 25 minutes, met by her mum and dad. Exciting journey ahead for this young lady with 2022 already in the calendar.
